Royale Tail Light

For everyone's information one of my tail light 's had a few dents in it . As everyone know's they are very rare . I took it to a fellow who does English wheel work . The housing is made of brass and he performed magic on it . I now have a tail light with no dents and just needs to be rechromed . All it cost was $90. I am very happy .

A couple of questions on the tail lights. Does the red go on the left side of the car (driver's side) or right? My red is on the right but I see that Kirk's is on the left. I have a feeling his is correct. Also, the license plate goes on the red lensed light? I

On the pictures I have seen, red is always the left one and white is regularly on the right side... and it makes sense, since most cars back then had one taillight only and it was regularly on the left side. My opinion only...
