Spring Specifications

Here are the specs for you.Front Left - Width - 2"; no. of leaves - 9; Length - 18 x 21 1/2; Height - 4 3/4; Bushing size - 3/4 x --;(bushing on the front of the main leaf only); Weight - 29 lb; Main leaf weight - 7 lb.Front Right - Width - 2"; no. of leaves - 9; Length - 18 x 20 1/2: Height - 4 5/8: Bushing size - 3/4 x 3/4: Weight - 28 lb; Main leaf weight - 7 lb.1932 Flying Cloud Coupe rear - ( manual skips from 1929 t0 1932 on the rears with no explanation) Width - 2"; no. of leaves - 9; Length - 26 1/2 x 28 1/2; Height - 8 3/8; Bushing size - 7/8 x pin; Weight - 42 lb; Main leaf weight - 9 lb. (Don't know if these measurements apply to 1931 or not)You may be able to get new springs made at Harry's Spring Service in London Ontario - 519 432 8687 - they have specs for a lot of the old stuff and their prices are very reasonable. They have been in business for over 50 years I think. At least the shop looks it!
