Correct Springs for Headlight Wire Loom

So I ordered spings for the pipes that hold the headlight wires. They seems to be spring loaded although I don't have the original springs anymore. Here is what I ordered: Compression Spring 2" Long, 0.845" OD, 0.685" ID 9657K401 From Mcmaster Carr. Will let you know how it works out.

The McMaster Carr springs work great. Here is a video and picture of them. We had to use two to get the right length.

Correction, three per side so 6" in length would be correct if you want to use a single spring. Here is the finished product.
