Mark, why don't you drop him an email. He might not be back. Is this the same article that is scanned and posted on the forum?

Hi Steve, I'm on the road now but I'll drop you an email when I'm back in the office.
Thanks!
Hello Steve I tried replying to your email address but it comes back to me . Undeliverable .
Steve: Thanks a lot for your offer to help. I am sure that material will be very useful to many of us, at least to me. If the other guys have difficulty reaching you, you might try sending me the material and I will gladly try to upload it or send it to the right people to do it.
My email is: vmilke at nutryplus dot com
Thanks again!

Hi A.J.
They look good! I'll try uploading pages six through nine directly.
Steve
Page Six
Page Seven
Page Eight
Page Nine
That's all the pages that pertain to Royale and Flying Cloud 8-30. The last page features the Speed Wagon and commercial models, I'll post it if anyone is interested.
If anyone would like close-up images of sections of any of the pages, let me know here.

Btw, Thanks Steve!!!
A.J. and All, You're welcome! I hope others who have Marksman copies in those years will do the same, I'd love to see them. Those "Favorable Comments from the Trade" are priceless, reveal how hopeful dealers were that the Royale would be a boon to their business.
Steve: Thanks a lot for supplying this material. It is fabulous! I enjoyed seeing many original pics I hadn't seen before, and a first for me of a Royale with whitewalls (though of course they were optional, but this is the first time I actually see them on an original pic) and confirmation on painted wheel lock rings. If I could take your offer and ask you to post the last page on the Marksman... I would love to have it complete.
A.J.: thanks for posting the initial pages.
Priceless material! Thanks!
Victor
Hi VictorHere you are, page ten of the Marksman. Their commercial line was an important and well-respected part of their business.Hope more Marksman copies will be posted here eventually, I'd love to see them!Steve
Thanks a lot for posting this material Steve! I would also love to see more Marksman copies. I hope somebody has them and can share them.

Hi Royale Men!
Specifically from our conversation on the Dietrich Sport Sedan thread:
Take a look at page four of this REO Marksman with "First Glimpses of Reo-Royale in The Public Eye". In the lower half, a sedan is shown on the football field with what look to be chrome disk with some body color rings and blackwalls, the sidemount covers fully chromed.
Were those disk wheels optional?
Anyone have close-up photos that show them better?
Has anyone seen them on another Royale in period photos or have a car with them now?
Packard offered chrome disks in that period so they weren't unknown then.
Steve

Steve,
I'm recalling at least one factory photo (which may be posted on this site) that shows the chromed artillery wheels. I have never seen a post war picture of the car so it probably does not exist. There is a price list which has the chromium spokes as an option (50 bucks I believe).
