The advantage of a standalone board is we could have threads about each ad for discussion. On the other hand, I'm not sure how many cars will come up for sale in a given year anyways so I guess I'll leave it up to you. I'm fine with either. However, if we leave it a single thread could you make this one a sticky? I don't have that button.

Yes. I see it now, under "actions". Thanks.

A flying Cloud for sale. I have a 1934 Flying Cloud for sale in Northwest Ohio. This car is being sold to settle my Dads estate. It has been sitting(inside) since 1973. Very solid complete car, except for intake and exhaust manifolds are both rusted beyond use. This car is on many Facebook pages, including AACA site. Paulding county (ohio) garage sale site, REO car club and others. To see pictures, go to one of the sites and to see other info. Thanks for looking. John Earl My e-mail is sandyandjohn05@yahoo.com. I am looking for offers over $4000.00

Master cylinder which is shared with the Model J Duesenberg. 250.00 buy it now on eBay.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/171752690306
Back around 1960 my dad bought a dozen NOS internals for these from the Hupp/Graham factory in Auburn Indiana. Many Auburn/Cord/Duesenberg parts had been mixed in when the factories were combined. I used the last one on my car.

I thought this was kinda neat. 1933 Flying Cloud 3 window coupe. 26,500. It is about an hour and change from me if anyone is really interested I could take a look. I think compared to a Dodge/Plymouth/Pontiac 6 with same body it might be a tad high given the condition. I'm not sure if the Reo gets a premium for being rare or a minus for being unknown.

Thanks for the link A.J., I need them! Unfortunately, I can't even tell how many times I have bought incorrect things on ebay as the vendor does not really know what he has. In this particular case, he lists 1930-31 Reo Royale, which we all know is not correct.
Can anyone confirm if the headlight lenses appear to be correct for Royales? At least the measurments and general design?
I guess the temptation to get them was too great and the risk of not being able to purchase them scared me... I got them already. Thanks again, A.J.!

Victor, I bought a single NOS lens a few months ago but have never gotten around to making sure it works. Hopefully the guys selling the lens are using the book which is supposed to be fairly accurate. However, I too have bought stuff only to find out a year later it is not the right part when I finally get around to trying it.
Sounds familiar...but sometimes it takes me much over a year to find out!
Anyhow, thanks again for the lead!

Juha Kaitanen
Car was sold last year.
I would say, yes! By all means!
By the way, since we are talking about sold cars, the Victoria restoration project in Seattle, Washington, got sold. I don't have the name of the new owner but he is apparently a collector from Colorado.

Full restorations are usually underwater sorts of adventures. I'm waiting for pictures from Shawn Miller on the Victoria that Brian Coffee is selling.
This is not a Royale but a Flying Cloud and cool: https://yuma.craigslist.org/cto/6039459345.html

Ed, wasn't there more than one? I don't suppose you took any pictures?

Shawn Miller has the advertisement up for the 8-35 Victoria. I will post pictures of it on the victoria thread.

A few more pieces of information. There are 2 engines, one of which is coming back from the machine shop rebuilt. There are loads of extra parts which Shawn is going to get a complete list of.

Perhaps John knows what body and model this is.

Reo Royale for sale in New Zealand. send me a pm for the email. Interesting that it has 8-31 features on a 135 inch wheelbase.
1931 Reo Royale Sedan 35N Series
The Reo brand of prestige automobiles was founded by R.E. Olds and was exported to
several countries including New Zealand. This model is now quite rare in NZ and needs a
new caretaker. It has been in our family for the past 50 years during which time it has been
driven and stored undercover.
The REO engine was very popular and later used in commercial vehicles. It is a straight eight
cylinder,5861 cc with 125bhp. It runs well and has done 68,000 miles.
Recent work includes a new mechanical fuel pump, reconditioned carburettor, new spark
leads and spark plugs. The brakes are hydraulic and have recently been overhauled. The
tyres are in good condition with 2 spares. The electrics are still 6 volt and the battery is
new.
The body was designed by Murray Corp and is in good original condition. There is some
wear on the fabric in places. Very little superficial rust is evident. The paint is original with a
couple of chips. Minor work required on the lights.
A handbook, spare head gasket and luggage trunk are included. Registration is on hold.
Thanks for the information A.J. It is a beautiful car .
