I will try to recall all of the '31-'32 Royale Convertibles:
1. 'Bumble Bee' , yellow and black, owned by Lori and Harry Emmons.
2. The Greg Whitney two toned burgandy now owned by the John Phillips Family.
3. The Ralph Bowyer plum colored car, sold to Canada and color changed to silver and black.
4. The John Barker Family Green car that I think came from the Seattle area.
5. The John Barker Family 'plum' car that was recently sold to ???????????
6. The Zach Brinkerhoff convertible that is in the same color combination (I think) as Keith Smith's coupe.
7. The Lester car (of the Lester Tire fame). I don't know where that car went.
8. The Vic Macek green car. Came from a collection in Salina, KS and was formerly owned by Glen Chism of Fulton, MO.
9. The Jim Neal recent barn find that came from the two brothers in the Lansing area.
I also know of some '31-'32 Royale Coupes:
1. Keith Smith (may have been a former Zach Brinkerhoff car).
2. Jay Leonard
3. Bill (senior momment) from Georgia whose car was owned by his uncle and is undergoing a complete restoration
I know of the following Victorias:
1. The John Phillips car that was found in Chrystal City, Texas.
2. The Jack Madison car that was sold to Glen Thrush and then to Joe A.
3. There was one that I saw near Salina, KS in a collection owned by a retired railroad conductor.
4. There is one in the Seattle area owned by a man who lives in the Dallas area. Keith Smith knows the owner.
5. Victor Milke's car in Mexico
6. Mark Gregory recently acquired a 8-31 from the John Barker Estate that came from the Rex Hadley collection in Utah
7. The Don Olson 8-31 now owned by his son Keith Olson in Vermont
I know of the following Sedans:
1. The Bob Brunelle car, Blue, now owned by the John Phillips Family.
2. An 'all original 8K mile car' that Joe A found in the northwest USA.
3. An original car, formally owned by John Barker, now owned by Nick Androcovich
4. The Don Peters 1933 8-35 now owned by Mark Peters.
Other Royales:
The Dietrich Royale sedan formerly owned by Peach Thomas, John Barker, now owned by A J. SanClemente of Mass.
The 8-52 limo who is hopefully going to be at the Lansing 2014 meet and is owned by someone from the Chicago Area.
So that makes 9 convertibles, 7 Victorias, 4 sedans, and 2 special Royales for a total of 22 Royales that I know of. I know there are more but these are the ones I am familiar with. John G. Phillips
There is Mr Blacks Royale Sedan in Huntsville , Ontario . It is the beige coloured body and wooden wheels . John Buhaglar Victoria in Michigan . Brent Merrill 1932 8-35 Convertible in Toronto , Ontario . Walter Sprague's car in Michigan ?

There is this long wheelbase sedan, has anybody emailed the seller?http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/carsforsale/reo/royale/1644941.html

Also, (EDIT: #4 in John's list) this Victoria which is/was I think owned by John Maddock. Mark did you talk to this guy? The car is apart and he posted some pictures which I failed to grab at the time.

Yes long before I knew about Bill Barker's car . I offered John Maddock full price for the car as long as it had a title . He kept trying to sell it to other people . Even though I had offered to purchase it .

The title is a big deal in many states - especially Mass. If he imported it 20 years ago into Washington state there could be a sales tax issue if it is anything like Massachusetts. Did he ever give you any pictures?
Al, where is the 'long wheelbase sedan'/ Is it a 8-52 or 8-35?

California. I'm leaning towards 52 from the picture but would defer to your opinion.

Here is another one in Chile. I can't tell what the body is/was.

Victoria no. 4 in the above list is still owned by John Maddock. I talked to him and he was kind enough to refer me to his son Jack and let me see the car and take many pics which will help in my restoration. John lives in Texas, but his son lives in Seattle at the property where the car is kept. The car is almost completely appart, with good wood, a good body... but it will need a complete restoration. It would be a nice project for somebody having the time and cash to do it.

Sounds like Texas has a great system. Massachusetts makes it almost impossible to title a car that you don't have a title for. I assume they make allowances if you are coming from a non-title state but have ever bought a car from NY, etc. The issue in Mass is not the legal ownership but if all of the sales taxes have been paid. If a car is not titled every time it changes hands they won't get sales tax on the transaction so they make it next to impossible to deal with any car that does not have a title.

Hey Ed, Welcome aboard. You should do an intro for everyone in the introductions thread.
EDIT: Here is Ed's comment: Robert Dluhy of Ri sold his victoria to Coffee in Ohio last year. There were lots of extra parts and an engine that went with it.
