Curiously, it was mentioned in one price list at least, so I guess the plans were that it was going to be offered. Sadly, apparently it wasn't. And I say sadly because I really think it has gorgeous lines, particularly the light top and airy greenhouse, versus the much more common type of Victorias with no rear Windows and a huge blind top.

Agreed Victor. Very attractive. Top of the 35 model price list too!
I found an article in The Classic Car, December 1979, Vol. XXVII No. 4 in which the Victoria is pictured with the top down... in fact, the magazine show both pics together...It is a pitty that this car is now known to have survived. Really gorgeous! I find it's top treatment particularly interesting and rather unusual for the times.

That is a great find Victor. Definitely a shame the car is not with us.
That is very interesting Victor . So I assume that would have been a Custom body change from the Factory . Someone was thinking . Did other manufacturers offer Victoria's as convertibles as well ?
Yes, there were many convertible Victorias on several brands, generally speaking on expensive marques, but most of them had a very substantial top which would not allow you to see much out of them. That is the case with Packards, for instance, on which either the factory or the Dietrich bodies, had no rear windows but a large blind area instead.
What I find interesting in this design is that the top looks relatively light, with an airy greenhouse effect, versus the much more common type of Victorias with no rear Windows and a huge blind top.
