The tour was Thursday and it rained. What a disaster. Saturday is the traditional pre-show cleanup in the truck lot. A lot more work than the usual year. We got there around 10:15 and we were finished by 1:30. So about 3 hours of work. The underneath of the fenders and the wheels were the toughest to deal with as you might expect. I had plenty of help from @TomLaferriere and @MilburnDrysdale.
There are many restoration shops and collection managers in the lot and it is a busy place. Most of the professional shops had the cars on jack stands with the wheels off. I was equipped to do that but I wasn't gonna.
Tom and Stuart were a huge help.

Steve, it was almost like real work. I guess a first world problem. My antique car got mud on it while I was at Pebble Beach.
The truck drives are a huge help and you need to tip them at the end of the week. I let my driver Dave know what time I'm showing up and he as the car out waiting for me and he will reload it.
There is a class for Vanderbilt race cars this year. This one required a push start. They eventually gave up and got a rollback to put it on the field. The racecars were all being placed on the field this afternoon to make tomorrow morning go smoother.
